Hooray for pay day!
I’m feeling much better now, much more prepared to start the Roller Derby Workout Challenge for real. I am looking forward to Sunday’s meal plan so I can stock up appropriately. I am a week late, but I’ve still tried. This morning I was woken at 4am but the animals I’m babysitting so I did one of the Tae Bo dvds. It starts with a 30 minute beginner class, and I was sweeeeating after that, but I also decided I could push myself some more, so I did 40 minutes of the Advanced class that followed. Holy hell. I had to stop because my abs literally refused to co-operate anymore. They’re not sore now, so I think it was just because of the speed and intensity, rather than the actual moves themselves, so I am sure that over time it will become much more manageable.
And on the RDCW, I’ve decided that, for me, I won’t be eating the little bits of chocolate they allow. It’s probably something about teaching you moderation, but seriously, I have no self control. 2 squares is always 8. ALWAYS. So I’m just not going to do it for the 7 weeks. It’s really not that long, and besides, it’s like $4 more for LA BABY! Plus, y’know, Bonnie ‘n junk.
I had a visit to the physio today. I had to tell him I can only afford to come once a week, cry, how lame. But I need the moolaf elsewhere. He ot my jumping a doing cool stuff like that. And ended up deciding we only need one session next week anyway, he seems to be pretty impressed with how quickly I'm healing, SCORE!
Due to my 4am wake-up barks, I was pretty well knackered by the time I reached the office, and munched down some pretzels (the whole wheat baked ones) to keep myself alive, or I might have died. True story. Things went like this:
Breakfast: Porridge w quarter of a banana; apple
MT: Coffee, pretzels
Lunch: Steamed vegies and a tin of tuna
AT: Pretzels (note to self, buy something better for office cravings!)
Dinner: Chicken and vegies
L Word Marathon: Popcorn
so if pretzels are no good - what would be a better "I am going to die" snack??
