Ah-ha! You might have noticed how I slipped yesterday right by you. I think that goes to show that it was a hell of a write-off. I knew it would be! And today was a naughty hangover morning that marked THE END of the silly season! I certainly pumped up the exercise to try and cover for it early on. I doubt it worked. There was about 3 beers, a champagne, 2 glasses of wine, and cheese, chips and chocolates ahoy!
The Roller Derby Workout Challenge starts in t-minus 6 days! I started eating pretty badly, but I'm making up for it for the rest of the day.
•2 x pb+rye
•Scrambled eggs with prosciutto
•Carrot
•2 x biccies (they were yum. And the hangover was the end of the bad run!)
•Half a cup of quinoa and a tin of tuna with a mix of spices
•Steak with salad
•ice cream (well, I tried)
•2 glasses of wine
I started today hungover, by midday I was working on the positives, but by the afternoon... Blergh. Feeling extremely negative. Led to emotional eating and drinking. I've made to first step by identifying my trigger, I just have to work on the second step, the avoiding the traps.
Hangovers are always a downfall :( reading about your steak and salad makes me want that!
ReplyDeleteI am also going to look at doing the roller derby challenge. I have 2 reasons now 1. I want to be awesome at derby and being fit will help that along (and help my poor old body!) and 2. I am going on a mini cruise in December!!! :D
Knowing what makes you over eat and drink is a good start - controlling that is then the next step. call me if you need help anytime x
